With the approach of the 2006 Atlantic Hurricane season upon us, it is important that you have an evacuation plan in place. We have put together the following tips for evacuating with persons living with Alzheimer's.

Alzheimer's Services of the Crescent City works to support the nearly 100,000 Alzheimer caregivers here in New Orleans. We understand what this means because we are family members and caregivers ourselves. Continuing our lecture series, hosted chats in the J&PS Virtual Support Group and the start of our Respite Care Program we aim at lessening the stress, isolation and overwhelming nature of Alzheimer's caregiving.
